Specifications
Will the seat fit my bike?
The seat fits most bikes with a round top tube, including sloping and tapered tubes.
It is not suitable for electric bikes, step-through or single-tube frames, aero or square tubing, or older bikes with brake cables running along the top of the top tube. Not sure? Send us a side-on photo of your bike and we'll tell you.
Will the handlebar fit my bike?
The clamps fit standard flat and riser handlebars, with foam grips at both ends. You need clear space either side of the stem. Drop bars are not suitable.
Will my child fit the seat?
Designed for children roughly 2 to 5 years, up to 30kg. The real test is whether they can sit up unsupported and hold a bar for a whole ride — some are ready at eighteen months, some aren't at three. The footrests adjust as they grow.
How to fit it
- Open the clamp on the seat bracket and sit it over your top tube, just behind the head tube.
- Tighten the bolts evenly until the bracket is firm and won't rotate.
- Slide the footrest bar to the height your child's legs reach comfortably and lock it off.
- Fit the two collar clamps around your handlebar either side of the stem, then bolt the child's bar into them.
- Check everything by hand before the first ride, and again after the first few.
